Course Overview

Applied Project Management is fully online and self-paced. The course includes approximately 30 hours of recorded instruction, graded exercises, the submission of an industry project report, and participation exercises. After purchase, you have 180 days to complete the course.

This Applied Management Course fulfills the minimum required 35 hours of project management education toward eligibility for the PMP certification.

What is the difference between Foundations of Project Management and Applied Project Management?

The difference between the two courses is the length of time and depth of content. The first part of the Applied Project Management course is identical to the Foundations of Project Management course. Applied Project Management simply goes further and into more depth than Foundations of Project Management.

Can I take Applied Project Management if I’ve already taken Foundations of Project Management?

Yes, you can continue learning by taking Applied Project Management after completing Foundations. Instead of registering for the full Applied Project Management course, you will register for the discounted Foundations Extended* option, which allows you to begin learning after the Foundations content you’ve already completed.

Do I need project management experience to take this course?

You do not need project management experience to take the Applied Project Management course. The course is a great option for beginners, but you should prepare to be challenged.
