The AI curriculum consists of coursework in AI fundamentals and their intersection with specific engineering disciplines. An interdisciplinary approach is essential for engineers to develop systems capable of perception, planning, and interaction with physical objects and spaces in pursuit of design objectives, while integrating AI into engineering frameworks and system applications to create discipline-specific outcomes

Concentrations

The AI MEng program offers students four online or on-campus concentrations. All options focus on AI in different contexts. When applying, students will select the one degree concentration that they wish to pursue

Develop and deploy AI-driven solutions for the planning, design, operation, and management of resilient, sustainable, and intelligent infrastructure systems.

Integrate AI and machine-learning foundations with Mechanical Engineering-specific physical systems.

Use AI to address specific challenges in business operations, health care engineering, human systems integration, and financial engineering.

Apply AI and machine learning to real-world challenges in health, medicine, and biotechnology.

Bachelor's degree Engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
GPA 3.0 or above (4.0 scale) strongly recommended.
Personal Statement Personal experiences, motivations, and a reflection on your educational journey.
Academic Statement of Purpose Background, goals, and how this program fits your career.
Resume / CV Current professional or academic resume.
Letters of Recommendation Three letters from academic or professional references.
Transcripts Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
English proficiency TOEFL or IELTS required if native language is not English.
GRE Not considered.
